Playing together for over two decades!

Started in Victoria, BC in 2001 by Ann Schau and Dan Page, The Dancehall Players is now a five-member ensemble of musicians and composers specializing in English Country Dance music.

The Dancehall Players regularly play for dances in Victoria, Vancouver and the Gulf Islands on the west coast of Canada. The group has recorded eight albums of original and traditional dance music, including collaborations with international dance callers. Instruments include piano, violins, flute, recorders, guitar, banjo, mandolin, cello, and percussion.
